You don’t have to be a Certified Records Manager or have any formal
records training to use this program. ARMMS is a stand alone,
off-the-shelf CD-ROM Training product designed to make records management
simple. The program uses an easy point and click system. The steps are
numbered. The policies and procedures are already written and the forms
can be printed or populated electronically using Microsoft Excel and
Microsoft Word.
ARMMS provides the reasoning behind each essential step in designing your records management
program to meet key regulatory expectations, minimizing the expense for outside consultation.

records program. It provides class preparation suggestions, discussion
outlines, test scenarios, and an employee-training checklist. |

retention duration of each record type used in the organization. |
ARMMS advises the user of options available in the creation of your
records retention schedule. |

Records programs must be enforceable. The organization must prove that
it has taken ownership of the program and accountability for its routine use. |
ARMMS enables the purchaser to assign ownership of certain roles and
responsibilities to members of their organization using query screens. |
